Validate his self worth. Make it clear how valuable the impact of the socially responsible ministries his church has done is to the community.
Highlight the ways in which his desire to hold services is persuant of good ends by bad means.

I don't presume narcissism on the part of Mr. Shuttlesworth.
It's plausible he's trusted unreliable authority figures and, in turn, has become one.
I can empathize as someone who used to feel like a zealous, counter-cultural Christian world-changer.
The good his church has done in the past deserves to be recognized.
And the irresponsible risk to his congregation and those they'll come into contact with cannot be tolerated.

People are getting fired from their church positions for asserting that it's irresponsible to congregate.
